Migranaut (“the App”) is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your health data belongs to you. The App does not operate any servers and does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data to third parties.
All migraine session data, symptoms, intake logs, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account under Apple’s privacy policies. The developer has no access to your iCloud data.
The App may request access to Apple HealthKit data (sleep, heart rate, HRV, menstrual cycle) to provide correlations and insights. HealthKit data is accessed read-only on your device and is never transmitted off-device by the App. HealthKit data access is optional and controlled entirely by you through iOS Settings.
The App may request location access to capture weather conditions and barometric pressure at the time of a migraine. Location data is used solely to fetch weather from the Open-Meteo API (an open-source weather service). Only latitude and longitude are sent to Open-Meteo — no personal identifiers. Location data stored in the App remains on your device (or in your iCloud account if sync is enabled).
The App does not include any analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, crash reporting services, or tracking pixels. The App does not fingerprint your device. The App contains no third-party dependencies.

You can delete any or all of your data at any time by deleting individual records within the App or by deleting the App itself. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data. iCloud data can be managed through your iCloud account settings.
The App is not directed at children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
